What's up this weekend?

So, it turns out that while there's not a whole lot of racing going on this weekend, there are some happenings.  Notably:

• This is the Sales-tax-free weekend in North Carolina and the store has some great deals to take advantage of.  The sale begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.  Highlights include:

1.  a free tech tee (while they last) with purchases of more than $100
2. Mizuno will be hosting a demo day on Saturday with a very generous discount for the first 12 customers who buy a pair.
3. A social run and FREE continental breakfast on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
4. Ask the Experts lecture on Functional Movement Screening on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

• The Olympic Track and Field events start TODAY!
• Finally, a couple races I found, one locally at WakeMed Soccer Park is the Race for the Goal 5k, and there's a triathlon in Canton, called the Lake Logan Tri. 
• Locally, I'll be heading out to enjoy some of our area's off-road surfaces, both at Umstead State Park and Lake Jordan.
